This book store is amazing! I went there because they had a book I couldn’t find in Des Moines. Paul was so friendly and their overall selection of books and discounted prices was so worth my drive! The members club price is even better than B&N! I will be back soon!

Amazing service. And if you have any questions about a book, they will look it up for you. The people who were here were very, very friendly. And super easy to work with, and they will help you find new books that you'll fall in love with.

Service is wonderful. The place is packed full of books in all genres. I honestly love the atmosphere and set up of BAM in Ames more than Barnes and Nobel. Also can get great deals on books there!

Love the helpful staff and the selection of manga and comic books. My kids will have a lot of fun shopping for books during Christmas time. I like all the pop culture house items like pillows, mugs, etc. It's like a bookstore and Box Lunch all in one.

BAM has the best Father's Day selection of books and cards that I could find anywhere in Ames. The biggest drawback was I didn't find a budget option so be prepared to pay. However, that was at all the bookstores.

A slice of book heaven! We were visiting IA from MN and let me tell you I loved this book store! Can’t wait for the one in MN to open up! Definitely giving B&N a run for their money in my eyes. Loved it! So many great deals, so many books signed by authors!
